For those who haven’t heard of him. Shlohmo is a 20yr old producer out of LA and makes fire beats. Along the likes of FlyLo, Low Limit, Devonwho, and Nosaj, his beats have a resounding amount of depth and I love them all so much. Camping EP is due out on June 15th as an anniversary to the first run of his Shlomoshun Deluxe LP, which is just as amazing and came out a year ago. This one’s got a remix by Baths on it, who we featured a minute ago, and this Asura remix that is most definitely my favorite. enjoy :].

I was just cruising through Live For the Funk (a blog you should all bookmark. seriously. do it.) and looks like on June 2nd they posted up the Cool Kids new mixtape. I been diggin’ on The Cool Kids for a minute now and was quite excited to give it a listen. So I hadn’t heard about these cats till recently, but am glad to have been introduced. Playing at Bisco this summer in New York, one of the duo uses his tenor sax as a synth. and its wayyy dope. Glitch hop beats at their best. This first track is the title track off their main release, and the second two off their collab album they did with Two Fresh. all too fresh. (see what i did there?)

If you have been keeping up with buzz the past six months, then you have undoubtedly heard at least some praise over Breakage’s album,”Foundation”. A little while ago I posted a track from the album, “Old Skool Ting”. Get it if you haven’t. You may have also heard his remix of “Dog Days Are Over”. Big, big choons. This Croydon boy knows riddim and I have had his tracks on repeat this year. So, if you have been lazy or under a rock–here is some more incentive. Buy these albums: quality choons.
