This video’s been floating around for a little while and I must say, at least for me personally, this song is awesome. I am not an avid connoisseur of waffles or grass, yet the beat has the driving force of other new hip-hop artists like OFWGKTA and the lyrics are catchy to say the least. I haven’t been able to find an official EP release, but the download for the song is in the youtube description. I’ll also post it here.

Two tracks today, on completely opposite ends of the spectrum. First is a relatively new Kromestar and Sun of Selah track. Very low key and groovy. I hadn’t heard Sun of Selah before, but I’ll defintely be checking out some more stuff. Completely opposite from the low key Kromestar is the rather successful Bare. Releasing a number of big name tracks last year, Bare has been working on more collaborations as of late, but as always his production is very tight. Life is an oldie, but a goodie. Enjoy.

Fire track w “Hustle Hard” vocals. Real different from the recent “dinosaurs” but really good. Nice to hear Wayne’s vocals on something good. and without guitar. enjoy.
Excision and Cookie Monsta tomorrow at the Ritz in ybor. Should be quite the show. Hoping for less is more from excision. Last set was good, but he could have toned it down at parts and had it been more listenable. still.

Beautiful album with a range of different tunes, from surprisingly low key drum and bass tracks to equally mellow dub, production value is through the roof. With his first full album release Icicle positions himself among the current greats in groovy electronic music, UK garage, or what many would refer to as IDM.
